Unintended warping in Autopano Pro

by robguk » Fri Jul 27, 2018 11:55 am

I'm a relative newcomer to Autopano Pro, which I purchased a couple of months ago.

I'm wondering how I can remove unintended warping from a panorama. The attached image is stitched together from five shots; the building with the circular roof at lower left is noticeably warped in the panorama, whereas it appears perfectly circular in the individual shots making up the pano. The projection type is Planar, which is the one automatically selected by Autopano. If I change this to e.g. spherical or pannini, the visible warping of the circular roof disappears, but the boundaries of the image become such that I end up having to crop a lot more, making the resulting panorama smaller.

Is there any way around this?
