Non smooth panning.

by bernardcustard » Mon Jan 04, 2016 4:23 pm

Hi guys,

I did to versions one with jpeg at 9 and the other one at 6. The are not heavy because one it´s 74 Megas and the other one it´s 92Megas. The problem it´s when i change between panorama and it goes from right to left or viceversa it gets jerky or choppy. I just put the "?html5=prefer" and it does not work. I´m on the version 2.5 beta 2.

Any clue? of what can make that?

Here it´s a little peace of code i don´t know if i can touch any smooth parameters would it be better? instead smooth 100 to 400?

mainloadscene(pano14);lookat(get(panoview.h),get(panoview.v),get(panoview.fov));wait(blend);hideTooltip();lookto(-84.852900,-0.241155,131.769000,smooth(100,20,50));

Thanks in advance.

It seems that the smooth three parameters are:

smooth(accel,break,maxspeed) - accelerated smooth movement (=default)
accel = acceleration in degrees/second² (default=720)
break = negative acceleration in degrees/second² (default=-720)
maxspeed = maximum moving speed in degrees/second (default=720)

But still sometimes are not fluid even locally? Any clue? It´s not about the size, even doing some test and exporting at jpeg quality 2, it´s still not fluid sometimes. Any has the same weird thing? Safari, Firefox, Chrome tested and some are better than others but at the end the do some jumps between the automatic panning.

Need a link to test your tour, please.
If no fluidity under the HTML5 player (PTP 2.5), there is a problem with other thing or with plugins which take too much data into memory.

Nop, it does not work with HTML5 properly. It´s very weird thing. Even in the local version. I did not use other plugins :S:S. I just sent you the link via private. Sorry but i can not do it public at the moment :( :(

I just did a few moves and i did smooth(accel,break,maxspeed) 100,100,100 and it seems that it does not make it too much, but still does a little bit. I don´t know what it´s going weird but it seems sometimes it does not work properly. I did not use any extra plugin but i have installed sidebar, screenstart and others. It´s kind of weird because offline it´s doing it. Only when i put move to panoview to custom view and viceversa and it´s almost 180º. If that drops any kind of light to the table, great.
