Panotour Pro 2.5.11 Compass plugin bug

by Photosbykev » Thu May 03, 2018 9:50 pm

Hi,
I've just paid for Panotour Pro and playing with a tour.

I have a number of groups with a few scenes in each.

I'm trying to use the compass plugin on the scenes within a group. If I change the yaw on a scene and save as its default view it changes the compass position on other scenes within the group and other scenes in other groups.

It looks like the yaw values set on scenes within a group interact with the compass heading set in all other scenes, rather than look at the scene yaw value and do an individual offset for the compass heading on each scene

To replicate the bug. Set up a group with two scenes, set yaw and pitch to zero on both scenes and set a different compass heading for each scene and save as default view. Go into one scene and set the yaw to -90 and save the scene default. look at the compass heading in the 2nd scene it changes by 90 degrees which it shouldn't.

Kev Lewis

Hi,

I checked this issue.
It seems it is only a graphical bug in Panotour Pro interface.
If you uncheck the display of the compass, and then you re-set it, the compass is in the right direction .
And in the tour, the directions are OK.

We will try to fix the graphical issue in the GUI asap.
Thanks for reporting it,

Gérald

Thank you Gerald, that makes sense as it was a bit unpredictable at times.
