Vr not compatible with Chrome and Firefox

by maridagosti » Mon Sep 25, 2017 10:26 am

I have a project with 360° photo with voiceover and 360 degree videos. In the VR version, audio does not work in Chrome, and 360 ° videos doesn't work in Firefox. How can I solve this problem?

On mobile or desktop?

As for the 360° video scenes, did you replace the videos in the built tour files?

Have you consulted the Troubleshooting and Known issues sections of the documentation? http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... own_Issues

I have problems with Vr mobile. I have already replaced the files and consulted the forum, but I did not find a valid solution.
If I could start the audio in the VR version of Chrome on mobile it would be perfect. Maybe there is a trick we can use to avoid this problem?

Well for the sound on Chrome, as shown in my link there's a known bug on Chrome, you have to disable then enable the sound for it to start.

For the videos, if you have replaced them correctly then I don't know. Can you share the link to your tour? (Via PM if needed)

The Chrome solution works well on mobile, but can only be enabled in the normal version, not in VR. Is there a solution for the VR?

Do you have some solution for the vr? The Vr version increases the immersive sensation, but without any content it becomes almost useless

I'm really sorry I have no more software solutions than I've bought. I was expecting an answer like this: "we have no solution at this moment, but we are studying solutions to your problem"! I think I will have to consider other software and assistance that does not make me feel abandoned.

Issue is linked to a global background sound or sounds specific to a specific scene ?

Hi Maridagosti,
Regarding WebVR on mobile, the only browser that works good in the VR mode used to be Firefox for Android. However, the latest version of Android for Mobile shows a big error (Livepanos are no longer shown ... now a black box is shown).
Mozilla is working on this bug but in the latest release it hasn't been fixed yet.
I've disabled all my Livepano's now for when users are using Firefox as a browser.
Is this also the error you're so frustrated about?
Cheers, Johan

Its possible to workaround the mobile browser autoplay restriction:

You only need to have some krpano coding skills. Should work in all browsers.
