Issue replacing a 6 cube faces pano to a 1:2 pano

by Julien » Sat Aug 04, 2018 3:47 pm

Hi all,
I am sharing a wired experience I'm having at the moment.

I'm adding a pano made with 6 cube faces.
I'm having a look to this pano property, I can see the cube faces directory access -first screen shot.

Now I'm replacing this 6 cube faces pano, by a another pano but made from a single file (1:2 picture).
Checking again the pano propriety, the replacing process/the interface mess up something -second screen shot.

See, PTP actually kept me 5 cube faces and also the 1:2 picture into this one pano directory.
If now I'm going to manually delete these cube faces which have nothing to come anymore with a 1:2 picture, PTP is not recognizing the pano anymore :/
I've tried to re-generate the project, asked PTP to check and delete the unnecessary files.. nothing better came up

Thanks for feedback

My PTP is update.

I'm just guessing here but maybe it's because of the special characters that you are using in your folder- and filenames.
I would try to rename the "°fdc"-folder (remove or replace the "°") and also to rename the pano filename so that it does not contain two dots.

Nop.

By the way the tour is online since a while, its working very fine with somedouble dots and other special characters to the panos. I know it's not recommanded. Never had any troubleshooting with this tour.

The support from cube faces to equirectangular is not done.
You have to setup a new scene and change links too this new scene.
Sorry about that.
