Changing Google Analytics tracking ID manually in the code

by Siewers » Mon Aug 07, 2017 1:29 pm

I need to change a Google Analytics tracking ID in a tour, is there a way I can change the ID in the code?

Try opening the _skin.xml in a text editor and searching for the tracking ID you want to replace.

I don't know if it's copied anywhere else in any JS files though, so it is safer to replace it in Panotour.

Is it possible to anonymize the IP? In Germany this is prescribed by the Data Protection Act.

It's a feature request. I'll have a look on it.

A partial solution for the ip masking into xml can be to use the encrypted checkbox into the protection parameters of the build screen. But it's aonly a partial workaround.
