Website and 360° Videos inside a lightbox?

by FREIZEITMEDIA » Tue Jan 05, 2016 11:04 pm

Hi folks!

I'm a Panotour newbie and have two presale questions:

1. Is it possible to open a website in a lightbox by using hotspots? I just have found a tutorial with which you can open a website by using a fixed image.

2. Is it possible to start a 360° panorama video inside a lightbox via hotspots?

Kind regards
Hendrik

You can assign all sorts of actions to hotspots, including -but not limited to ;) - the website box and web video box, both of which are what you're looking for.

They are only available in Panotour Pro though, not the standard version.

Thank you for your quick response, but how can I assign a hotspot function? I have only found the function to open a website in a new browser window/tab. I find no way to open website box by using a hotspot.

First, make sure you have Panotour Pro installed and not Panotour standard.
In the Style tab, to the left you'll find the plugin library. Go to the Viewers category and add an instance of the website box to your project.
Set up it's appearance (size, colours, etc).
Under the plugin library add a new hotspot style to your project.
In the new hotspot's style, go to actions and you should find [plugin] Website box > Open the website box.

Now you can go to the Tour tab, add your hotspots to your scenes and set up the various websites or pages you want to link to.
