GoPro VR reframe

by dmitriymoroz » Mon Jul 10, 2017 11:56 pm

First question:
Tell me in what coordinate system does the plugin work? In respect of which the axes are specified by the angular coordinates of yaw/pitch/roll? How can I transfer the coordinates of yaw/pitch/roll in local coordinates of the camera?
Second question:
When I assign the keyframes in the sections of yaw/pitch/roll there are new options. What each of them means?

I have those questions too.

Animating the camera angles creates unpredictable rotations, which make no sense whatsoever.

I had much better success with the Mettle VR plugins (which are cheaper, and soon to be free), where setting up the camera orientation at one key frame, and then at another, would produce exactly the movement one had in mind.

In contrast to that it seems the reframe camera is controlled by a bunch of drunken sailors.

Those additional variables that OP is talking about... They make no sense either. Changing them have no effect on the camera orientation or position. Did the Kolor guys forget to hide their debugging code?
