Is there a way to take a 360 photo from the video?

by inspiredtom » Thu Jun 08, 2017 9:49 am

Hi

I'm just wondering if there is a way I can take a still 360 from my 360 videos?

Basically I want to embed a 360 photo on my website, but I only have 360 videos in the locations that I wanted to use, if that makes sense?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Tom

Hello,

At any moment, you can edit your 360 video into Autopano Pro/Giga and render the still panorama.

Best regards,
Olivier

Hello Tom,

When the video stitching is done, AVP displays the video into the realtime preview window. Click the Edit button and it will open Autopano Pro/Giga if present on the system.

Cheers,
Olivier

Hi!

Yes I know how to use Giga, I've done a number of edits, but how do I render out the still panorama rather than the video?

With Autopano Pro or Giga! You have the same render menu.

Olivier

Never mind!

Solved. Just me being stupid ha! I'd been doing it right the whole time, just not been looking at my exported frames in a player.

Cheers.

Hi.. I have just had a go myself.. Just play the move in AVP and stop it at the frame you would like to render. Then go to Edit which will open APG.. Then render it..

I have not played with it that much, but it only took me less than a minute..
