I'm pleased to announce my latest Panotour Pro plugin called "TimelineSlider".
This plugin implements a scrollable and zoomable timeline with selectable actions on an unlimited number of events.
It has 3 modes of operation according to the actions that can get executed when clicking an event marker or event preview image: „show an image“, „show the targets‘ pano description“ or „switch to the target pano“. When switching the pano you can choose if you want to keep the view orientation (Day/Night-effect). Despite that name, using this approach you can not just have 2 panos switchable, but an unlimited number of panos. If rotation is enabled, the pano movement during blending is kept with almost no interuption by the user interaction.

The price of this plugin is 36€ (incl. tax), the documentation and demotours are available at: https://shop.compunics.com.ni/?s=TimelineSlider

Edit 28.01.18:
Version 1.1 is out, i have added an optional timeline navigation menu for zoom and scroll plus some smaller internal improvements.
Edit 31.01.18:
Version 1.2 has optional features like minimum/maximum display date, the zoom and scroll-functions can be disabled and additional styling options like hiding the timeline axis and vertical bars, thus the plugin can be used as thumbnail preview bar.
Edit 05.02.18:
v1.3: fixes a Safari/iPad/IE11-WIN8.1-visibility issue by downgrading VIS 4.21.0 to 4.20.0

I'm pleased to announce the new version 2.0 of the TimelineSlider plugin.
This version is a major update offering an unlimited number of timelines with an unlimited number of panos each.
In addition, there are more options for the layout and positioning of the timeline.

The selection of panos belonging to one timeline is done via assigning an arbitrary timeline-id, it is not related to or bound by the panogroups you may have in your project.
Timelines only get displayed on panos that are part of a timeline, they can be hidden and shown via button actions and they can react to „hide/show controls“ requests.

Please have a look at the documentation and the demotours available at my shop at: https://shop.compunics.com.ni/?s=TimelineSlider

The price is now 44€ (incl. tax), existing TimelineSlider users get the new version for free upon request.

Version 2.1 of the TimelineSlider plugin is out, it has the additinal event preview action "show a video", and the preview actions can be triggered by the "onHover" or the "onRightClick"-events, so that they are usable on touch devices as well.

Existing TimelineSlider users get the new version for free upon request.

Hello,

to use this feature you have to incorporate the standard webvideo-plugin in your project, which supports the video formats described here: http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/view/Panotour_-_Style_-_Plugins_library_-_Viewers#Web_Video_Box
However, the plugin does only work with one webvideo plugin instance, so you cannot display several videos (attached to several timeline events) at the same time. Of course, each timeline event can have its own video assigned.

regarding the timeline slider can I ask few questions before I make a purches?
first I would like to know if the slider can be adjusted that I can view only the dates that are with the video?
2 . how the slider is open? can I put some logo or text and when I click it will open?
3. when it open is the slider will hide the other context on the tour like logos or other menu?

Hello,

regarding your questions:
first I would like to know if the slider can be adjusted that I can view only the dates that are with the video?
No, that's not possible.

2 . how the slider is open? can I put some logo or text and when I click it will open?
Yes, you can select to react to the "show/hide tourcontrols"-setting so that it is not displayed when the tour controls are hidden, and you can also show or hide the timeline via button.

3. when it open is the slider will hide the other context on the tour like logos or other menu?
Yes, the timeline is displayed above such elements like logos or the panorama menu.

Best wishes,
Michael Brüning

Dear erandan2000,

i answered your questions presented here and via email, but it's not always possible for me to reply on the same day.
What you describe here is not a bug, it's the intended plugin behaviour. I have offered my professional services for individual plugin customizations and general PTP usage consulting as well.

Best wishes,
Michael Brüning

Version 2.2 of the TimelineSlider plugin has been released, offering the new feature to set custom start- and end-dates including times for individual timelines. This way you can define the timeline scale that initially gets displayed. In addition, a bug has been fixed that caused wrong handling of background color setting under some circumstances.

Current users of this plugin get the updated version for free upon request, they have been informed via email.
