PANORMA SPLITTING THE RIGHT SIDE OFF

by charliepinphoto » Mon Nov 27, 2017 2:39 pm

Hi all
Difficult one here - hope you can help me solve.
Used a Roundhsot VR drive. Shot a 220 (left to right) and 120 (bottom to top). Exported a Papywizard file out.
Put into Autopano and processed out but took the right hand side of the image and placed it way out on the left side. Best explained by looking at the picture attached.
Urgently need a solution for this so please help!!
Thanks
Charlie

Hi Charlie
What happens is that Autopano tries to create a 360º image and Autopano orientates the image by putting the first image in the center.
What you can do in this case is to use the "Yaw, pitch & Roll" tool for move the image a few degrees (30, 45 or 60º) to the left, then you can use the crop tool.

Thanks so much! I managed to do it with those and the move tool. Seems like the panorama was stretched over the two ends of the 360 as you said...

I have another question if you can help?

I have shot using Papywizard files. Sometimes the software says the xml doesn't align with the images when it is the correct one, and sometimes even if it says it is wrong the preview looks good but it won't let me "finish" it. See screenshot. Any idea on how to solve these issues?

The truth is that I do not know what can cause the problem.
Without being able to see the images and the xml file, I can not imagine what could happen.
And there are 680 images!
