The autopano stitch
Hi,

I am trying to stitch a 9 image 360 pano shot with Canon T2i and Rokinon 8mm Fisheye.
Another software (not sure if I am allowed to use the name) stitched the pano automatically first time correct to give the perfect 360 output but somehow Autopano is just not able to stitch it together.
I have set the multiplication factor at 1.6 and focal length as 8mm in Autopano

The files are available at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9kLt ... GxDUVh0cUE

I have tried different settings and tried to manually set the control points but it is just not working. Even in my earlier panos, I had to face a lot of difficulty stitching in Autopano vs the other software. The images are just so mis-aligned I do not know how to correct it.

Any help with this particular case will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks but how did you do it? Is there something I was missing or did you have to do something manually to make Autopano detect the correct control points?

TIA.

Basically what I've done is a bit of manual work

# 1 I've charged the images in Autopano, except image 8 (images 8 and 9 are redundant)
# 2 After adjusting the focal length for the lens and setting that it is a Fish Eye (in the image properties) ...launch detection ...
# 3 In the control point editor I have deleted the links between non-adjacent images (In this case I have removed links 1-5, 2-6 and 4-6)
# 4 On the first attempt there was a discontinuity on the horizon, that has been solved by adding some control points
# 5 Finally, optimize and vertical lines tool ... And render!

Understood. So the links have to be in continuity (in sequence of the direction of the images)?

Yes it is. In this case the only links I have kept are -1-2-3-4-5-6- + zenith and nadir (only single image for each one)
