Image Transformation information

by robinripper » Fri Jul 08, 2016 2:59 pm

Hi,
I've been using Kolor for a while now, and was looking into how autopano (giga) transforms the images.
But I found that there is very little information on it, only on this page (http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... ers_Editor) I found some information under the "Display/Hide Localization info" section.

Is there are more thorough guide on how these values transform the images?
Thanks

Hello,

What do you mean exactly by "APG transforms the images"?

Kind regards,
Olivier

Hi Oliver,
I mean that an image will start off like this:
http://i.imgur.com/qoPh57I.png
But using the yaw/pitch/roll/fov/K1/K2/K3/X-offset/Y-offset transform it to this:
http://i.imgur.com/kO7wDpV.png

Using http://i.imgur.com/oenjyAB.png these values.
And I wonder if there was more information on how this transformation actually happens, how each of these values is used to transform the image.

One thing that's also confusing to me is why the Fov is different for each picture when they were taking with the exact same camera.
Thanks
