Crop Image from Pano

by rruiz » Tue Nov 03, 2015 4:10 pm

Hello
I have used a lot the crop tool and works fine when the portion I want to use has no distortion because is at the middle, but how I need to do the crop when the portion I want is on the bottom of my pano?
This is an aerial pano.

I am attaching the pano and the portion I want to take/crop using printscreen low res pic.

Regards

You could drag and drop the panorama into Kolor Eyes Desktop (it's free), so that the panorama will be projected, fullscreen it (double click) and take a screenshot from that? Since you mentioned wanting to take a screenshot.

Hi
Another option:
You can use the Vanishing Point tool to place the area that you want to reproduce in the center of the pano and thus avoid the distortion in that area, then you can render the part you're interested in this position (this will distort the rest of the image until you reset the horizon correctly ... you can also close the panoramic without saving the change and thus preserve the original pano)
This way you can keep the original image quality because it does not depend on a screenshot.
Experimentation is the funniest way to learn, to ask the fastest

Hola Roberto,

1 - Vanishing Point (Punto de fuga)
To center the pano you can also use (Para centrar la panorámica también puedes usar)
2 - Yaw, pitch and roll (Cabeceo, alabeo y guiñada)
3 - Move images (Desplazamiento de imágenes)

Saludos
