Premiere and After Effect CC crash vith VR Plug-in

Hello,
I have a serious problem with VR Plug-in. The player works good, but when I try to open the plug-in panel Premiere Pro crashed.
Here is the stamp of the error.
Can someone help me?

Every time I try to use this Plug-in in AE it crashes instantly... is there no solution?

I've tried on multiple machines running AE 15.1 (cc 2018 latest) - I can get it to apply w/o crashing in Premiere, pretty buggy with updating and rendering though and I really want the effect for AE. Any Tips?

AE 14.2 (CC 2017) also crashes instantly

OK... so in AE 2017 if the image/comp is 3840x2160 or smaller it will run. AE 2018 crashes regardless of image size
