Re: Capture a 360 Pano in 12 seconds....

I could use the fisheye on the panogear if I had a shorter rail , I don't know how long it would take a lot longer than 12 seconds that's for sure ,it would take that long to work out, it had to move Ha ,the fat base would be a problem as well ,I tried it on my MP360 drive that I got for my camrange...

Re: Capture a 360 Pano in 12 seconds....

yes it makes interesting reading , I have one advantage I am a fairly large rotund sort of person and I hug the tripod when I use it so they have to go around me anyway ,and I am very careful where I put it ,apart from the VR2 drive I am also thinking of changing my NN5 to a Nodal Ninja R1 or simila...

Re: Capture a 360 Pano in 12 seconds....

Destiny I think you should try a standard monopod before you buy one ,borrow one or go to the shop and try one , they look a good idea until you get into rushed situation ,if the subject is high you have to lift it of the ground ,if the subject is low you can't go down because the pole is in the way...

Re: Capture a 360 Pano in 12 seconds....

Re: Capture a 360 Pano in 12 seconds....

Hi Destiny yes sounds very good I was reading the manual on line , A little disappointing that you don't get a lot of the operations with it like HDR ,SPEED MODE etc ,the manual says that speed mode is recommended for Gigapixel photography ,that's one of the main reasons to get this type of head but...

Re: Best Affordable Zoom/Telephoto Lens Option for a D800

Hi Destiny hope you and the family are well, fine on the portrait photography ,my best lens for that would be my Nikon 70 to 200 2.8 vr1 ,followed by Tamron 24 to 70 2.8 ,I like my Nikon 10.5 with the lens hood shaved off its only fault is the purple fringing but the software gets rid of that ,4 sho...
