Re: Olympus OM-D E-M1 support

Yes it's there. I did it when I got my E-M5, and now I need to do it with my E-M1. Should be unneccesary. The name of the file is cameras.txt It's in (my case) c:\Users\leif\AppData\Local\Kolor\Autopano Giga 3.5\Kolor\Data\cameras.txt In APG 3.51 it says: ..... Olympus;E-620;2.000 Olympus;E-M5;2.000...

Re: Olympus OM-D E-M1 support

Same issue here.
It recognises the lens etc from the exif, but the conversion factor is wrong/unknown.
Should be fixed ASAP

Re: Bug or what ?

I have closed this case, I have to move on. My last move on this one is: - uploaded a package to Kolor with images (in jpg, not 16bit TIF as I use myself) and the XML from the VRdrive2 (maybe Kolor can use it to improve APG) - made the pano available to anybody to enjoy at http://www.rundskuer.no/pa...

Re: Bug or what ?

Sorry. It should be APG 3.5.1.
Parallell processing isn't easy.

Re: Bug or what ?

I did not mean to be sarcastic. This pano is done in APG 3.5.1, which I believe is the last stable. The fact is that I had to do like a year ago, render the ground with ghost and the sky with diamond cutting and swap the sky. Just like a year ago. Nothing has changed is perhaps not precise. Tground/...

Autorotate to next scene

In PTP 2 autorotate change to next scene automatically. It seems like it jumps after rotating appox 180 deg.
I have looked in the GUI for the option, I want sometimes to change it to 360 deg. But I can't find it.

Maybe I have to edit the XML, if so which one and what parameter is it ?

Re: Bug or what ?

I don't care where the "object" comes from. It was not in the sky at the time of shooting, it was not in my recorded images. It is in the rendered pano, rendered with the antighost option. It should not been there. Have a look at this post: http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=114417...

Re: Bug or what ?

I can't see any relevance in comparing a sphere shot with fishey with a 92 image sphere shot with a "normal lens". The up-face is shown below. I can see no multiple zeniths. I've closed the case, doing what has been told here several times: two renders, on for the ground and one for the sk...

Bug or what ?

This is sphere shot with a "normal lens", 92 images.
In the blue sky there is a anomaly in the rendered image, and I'm not sure why.
I report it here to see if there is a explanation/fix. Otherwise I will concider it a bug.
See image below.

Re: Hotspots on map

I'm advancing :) Soon I will try move the hotspots from the 1.8 project to 2.1. Guess it will be necessary to tweek some XML's. A small detail first: I would like to have the 1.8 style google map scale tool in 2.1. I can't find an option for it in the gui. Anyone ? In the image below is the 2.1 styl...

Halo - solved :-)

Today I shot a sphere (92 images @normal lens) and the result was not as expected. There was a big blob in the sky !! See the image below. My first reaction was "it's a bug in APG" !! A little research told me that today this phenomenon has been observed by others in my region, it's a opti...

Hotspots on map

I'm still using ptp 1.8 to maintain a clickable google map for my panos ! Because I cannot find how to do it in ptpt 2.1.

In ptp 1.8 I can place hotspots on the google map with tooltip and an URL, like in the images below. Is there a way to do it in ptp 2.1 ? Anyone ?

Re: Panogear for astro photography?

Hi No, I don't have the hand controller. I have a Merlin stoved away with the bluetooth adapter from the time I tried to use it with a Nokia N900. I gave up and bought me a Seitz VRdrive2. The VRdrive is superb but it can't do astrophotography (afaik). I'm also gearing up for the total solar eclipse...

Re: North west of Norway april 2014

I have thought a lot about this issue, and I've still not concluded. Like Klaus I would have preferred a clean startup with no distractions. So: whether mirrorless cameras will or will not take over the universe - who cares? When you are good - you can use *any* device for making good pictures. =D Klaus I agree. And for the time beeing I am enjoying the small size and weight of a mirrorless camera with a handful of beautiful and small p...

Re: Mirrorless Cameras... Are they any good....??

Nikon 1 and Canon EOS M are deliberately made inferior to their DSLR's, for not to kill their cashcows. Don't expect them to come up with really good mirrorless cameras anytime soon. Luckily there are others that do. Sony, Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus etc. Sony Alpha 7R is a gamechanger. Fullframe mirro...
