1) an angle wider than 110° isn´t in a good way correctable. 2) us a combination of center-tool and vertical lines. For exact horizontal lines use the horizontal lines tool. '[bo wrote:']Or you could just use the center point tool for quicker results?

That's what I tried at the beginning, but with rectilinear projection, one degree change makes a lot of difference, so the center point tool is not accurate enough.

Georges, You are right, yaw is the solution... and the problem, it's getting me crazy. First, why do I need to change the yaw with 2.5.0 to get a decent result, when I need to do nothing with 2.0.9 to get a perfect result ? Second, let's assume -21.500 yaw is almost OK, you try -21.600, now it's com...

An opinion anybody ?
According to me, this is a bug in 2.5.0 ; I have repeated the process several times with 2.0.9 , all were OK (without changing the vanishing point), and several times with 2.5.0 , all were completely distorted, unusable, despite trying to change the vanishing point.

[APP 2.5.0 64bits, Win 7] problem with rectilinear projection

With 4 NEF images as input, all CP of the 3 links are located by APP on the grass, not on the buiding I am trying to take a picture of. Therefore, link per link, I deleted all generated CP, and added 'manual' CP on the building. Here is the result with 2.0.9 first and 2.5.0 second. CP editing cannot...

Alexandre,
After uninstall and reinstall, it worked fine !
I tried standard and high detection, and another set of photos where I had the same problem, now everything is OK.
Thanks a lot for such a quick reaction.

I use it for stitching and rendering - and here it is brilliant! I don´t expect it to be a RAW converter or a HDR app. I completely agree, APP is an excellent stitcher, and I use other softwares for RAW conversion and tone mapping. My concern , in this thread, was 'just' to compare two workflows f...

It is indeed but it does work reliably for me. A Does it really ? On your web site, you are complaining about ghost images ..... IMO 2.0.9 is not outdated until 2.5 comes out officially and documented. As a software engineer I hate testing software when my purpose is photography. But the end result...

I always used to tonemap (photomatix) braketed images before stitching. When I saw the suggestion above, I decided to give it a try, 7 camera positions x 3 brakets (-2,0,+2), so 21 images with exactly the same pixel sizes. First test, I created the .pano project with the 0EV braket, multiband, no at...

Thanks for sharing this example, quite useful !
I must say I am quite happy with 1.4.2, and still hesitant to move to V2.

I am using smartblend most of the time, what is exactly the advantage of using multiband when there are no 'moving' objects ?

Your post is interesting, but you do not provide enough information for it to be usefull.
Could you please provide
. your environment details (Operating system,...)
. one pano made with 1.4.2 , together with the main detection and optimise parameters
. the same as above with APG 2.0.1

Alexandre,
Why not solving this ICC problem for Jpeg & Tiff only as a first step, and PSD/PSB later on ?

Hi,

"I prefer enfuse most of the time anyway."
You caught my interest conc enfuse, which I did not know, but I am a bit lost between Enblend, Enfuse, Hugin,..and AutoPano !
Would be nice if you could :
. give me a starting point for enfuse,
. explain how you combine enfuse and autopano pro ?

Do you process raw files in a raw developper or in PM / Autopano ?
How would you compare Photomatix's exposure blending and Enfuse ?

Hi DrSlony, Thanks for the pointers you provided. I agree with the strengths and weaknesses you described , just some remarks: . I tend to use smartblend only when the are moving 'objects', otherwise I prefer multiband . did you try Photomatix 's strip by strip option to solve memory problems ? You ...

I know 3 different ways to combine Photomatix and autopano pro. Let say you have 4 different views for your pano, each taken at 3 different exposures. 1) create HDR -> stitch -> tone mapping : combine the different exposures for each view to obtain 4 HDR images with photomatix create one HDR pano wi...

Comparaison autopano pro / Giga

Before ordering autopano pro or Giga, I would like to review the comparison chart, which is now impossible to find.
All url are not working anymore..
I am not interested by auto tour , but by new HDR features and additional projection modes. Are they already included in Giga ?

Regards,
Bernard
