Re: planar projection is cut in a square

Hello candito, The flat projection has some inherent physical limitations and there is no way to overcome them. The theoretical limit is about 180 degrees, but in practice does not exceed about 120, beyond this only other projections can be used and unfortunately these projections will introduce dis...

Re: planar projection is cut in a square

Without seeing a screenshot showing the problem, I guess what happens is that your panoramic covers too wide angle for rectilinear projection. You can look at these links the reason for this limitation for the rectilinear projection. http://shaunlebron.github.io/visualizing-projections/ http://wiki....

Re: Can APP/APG handle planar panorama tiles?

Hi Daniel, AFAIK Autopano does not have a method to deal directly with images on a surface and moving the camera instead of rotating... But... ... If all the photos are taken at the same distance from the subject and with the camera axis absolutely perpendicular to it, you can use the same procedure...

Re: New to Autopano | cannot get a "flat", undistorted image

Hi Jerry, Often I shoot hand-held BKT and when I need to use a fusion software without the ability to align the stacks, these are the settings that I use to avoid image warp. http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31164#p181055 If all you need is to align the stacks for manual fusion you...

Re: cannot save cropped result as jpg

Hello Jim, When you're satisfied with the panorama you can save your work as .pano file. The .pano file, together with the original images, allows you to reopen the panorama in Autopano. What you should do is to render an image file (jpg, tiff ...) which can be read by any image editor. http://www.k...

Re: Stitching problems / problème d'assemblage [SOLVED]

Hi Alexandra Very bad news ... seems to me that you will not be able to get properly assemble these images. The first thing I noticed is a great parallax error, see picture Paralax_01 and Paralax_02. And then I saw why ... see picture Error_01 (The camera should be installed on the other side of the...

Re: Stitching problems / problème d'assemblage [SOLVED]

If as you said the system has worked well, you should check if what happens here now is that there are check points erroneous perhaps due to some repetitive pattern or some other similar problem. Otherwise you can always share your images and we will see what solution can be applied (... And even mo...

Re: filename parameter %g, how to set a given starting numbe

Hello, I also looked for a solution to this problem ... In windows the way I found to adjust the value of "% g" was through the Windows registry. It is a key called "nbPanoDetected". Open "regedit.exe" and use the search engine (Ctrl + b), this key saves the last number...

Re: Autopano Giga Useless For True Planar Stitches

I agree, ICE has an import module that is very useful, but despite that ICE often does a proper job, is a fully automated software and if the results are not as wished no options to correct it. Another recent post ( http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31236 ) has reminded me RasterSti...

Re: Objectif à décentrement et assemblage avec auto pano gig

Autopano corrige par soi-même les convergences dans les lignes verticales sur les images prises avec l'appareil incliné vers le haut pendant l'optimisation en ajustant le point de fuite et l'hori...

Hello, I have been able to take a look at your images. Some observations: 1- There is too much overlap between adjacent images, about 25% would be ideal.
