It is a bit difficult for us to help you without seeing the actual photo's. Maybe you can send us the sourcefiles so we can have a go at them and maybe show you how to mask them out.
You can place the temporary folders on SSD. Do you have a SSD drive in your computer? Voor 153 photos in a panorama, your RAM seems limited. You might want to use photomatix to fuse your stacks first and then load the resulting Tiff files into Autopano. I have 64 GB and do 48 photo panoramas but I s...
Still on a manuall head so not using xml. I have made me a lightweight alternative to my VRdrive, based on Nodal Ninja pole rotator and foot plate. It is hardware set up for a 30mm FF eq lens and it makes full spheres. I have "reverse enginered" a XML-file for it. In that way the featurel...
I am someone that had a lot of crashes. Solved it by lowering the max memory APG can use. It's in the settings, change it and restart APG and hope for the best.
I am sure it it technically a amazing thing they are doing. However the result is ####. But even when they one day scale things up to 8k horizontally, 360 video has a flaw itself, due to the fact that things might be happening behind me and I might miss it. I can't stop the video all the time to loo...
Delete all links between sky and ground and link the images manually together by correcting each image seperately. Klaus Indeed found some bad links with high value between nadir and +50 shots. Deleted them when I saw trouble Definitely preferable in this situations is a head writing xml-data for t...
Been shooting on a day with partly blue skies and beautifull clouds. However, it was windy so the clouds moved a lot. So not a good place to have control points. How to avoid/remove control points in blue and white areas when they are above 30 degrees above the horizontal?
To be honest, I don't believe in the whole 360 video, the medium is too chaotic, too much a dumping of lot's of imagery without any structure. It's gonna fail and some people will loose lot's of money.
My client is asking for this. We need to make text clickable on the floorplan. I know it is possible in a panoram, but does not see it when working on a floorplan.
so it gets hot and delivers lousy quality stitching and video. No nadir also.....pffff haven't they learned anything? My bet is on an update of the Ricoh theta which has an optical advantage to start with as it has less to none parallax error.
I am using APG for bulk, often more the 10 panoramas. APG is doing fine there. Just need to be carefull with the settings for the nr of photos in each panorama and the max nr of seconds between each photo. To deal with crashes it is wise to do have APG do just one thing at a time, so no auto render,...
Of course you can reduce the % from 100% to 50%. This will problably generate a 500 MB file. Or select a different drive then your E-drive. 2 TB is not that strange considering you use 1600 images.
Some tips that might solve things : -Tell APG to use about 5 GB less then available RAM -Use photomatix to convert to tiff first and maybe do the fusion in case you use stacks -get yourself a nice 1 TB SSD to work from.
The problems between the lenses are never gonna be solved by any camera, there will just be situations where you do not notice it that much. The only option for perfect 3d-video would be to make a 3d computer model of reality based on what the different camera's see and from that recreate a video th...
Problem of course is that one sees about 90 degrees out of 360 so only a quarter. Things would be already better when one would have a 180 degrees display like this https://www.infoversum.nl/
