Mi Sphere Help

by alex_barni » Tue May 15, 2018 9:12 pm

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up the Xiaomi Mi Sphere 360 camera and I've having a hard time getting the two photos to stitch properly. Does anyone have any advice for the best settings to use in Autopano Giga?

Thanks

Hello,

Once you have cropped 2 separate pictures, add both to Autopano and change the focal to 8mm/fisheye. Check the Circular crop as well.
In group settings, Optimization tab, just select Local approach and First optimization.

Let me know if it works.

Best regards,
Olivier

When you say crop, are you doing that in a photo editor like Photoshop? Or are you marking the left and right images in Autopano using the Circular Crop tool?

Yes, I mean Photoshop or gimp for instance. In Autopano, just check if the circular crop is positioned correctly.
You can also follow the procedure attached.

Hope this can help to solve your issue.

Kind regards,
Olivier

That PDF and the template helped a lot. There are still a few areas that need fixing but that template got me 99% of the way there, thank you!
