Bad stitching

by Óbila » Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:45 pm

Hello:

I use autopano giga 4.4 in a MacBook Pro running High sierra. I have problems when pasting photos. It doesn’t work well. The stitching isn’t right. This problems doesn’t occur when working in other softwares for example Adobe Lightroom.

Thank you

Hello,

Autopano is not yet compatible with High Sierra. That said, there's no reason to not have a good stitching.
Can you add some screenshots of the issue and explain if you are able to stitch the same pictures properly using another OS and same Autopano version?

Kind regards,
Olivier

When will it be compatible with High Sierra (and also Panotour Pro)?
I may be forced to install a new system soon, and if possible I'd like to use the most recent macOS then.

Well, I admit I've been away from stitching for a while. I'm running High Sierra and 4.4.1 won't load ANY images I try. No error - just never does anything. And I see no updates in a long while - so have we (pano) been abandoned for the more glitzy video?

Hello,

That's not normal if you cannot add any image. What kind of picture file format exactly?
How did you add the files to Autopano?

Kind regards,
OLivier

We said that APG is not compatible with High Sierra because we haven't done deep tests on that system, that's it! It does not mean that it does not work on high Sierra, that's different.

Kind regards,
Olivier

I’ve tried to opt cr2, jpg, png nothing happens. No error. I reinstalled and no change. MacBook Pro 2017, fully up to date.

Hello,

Have you tried after you disable Fast editor and/or GPU processing?

Kind regards,
Olivier

Nope. Since it won't even open the first screen I didn't figure disabling editing features had anything to do with it.
