To give just two examples of comparison, the rest is easy to find on the site Pano2VR.
First. Autorotation in one direction only. Clockwise.
Second. Return to the horizon is absent.
Could add more examples, but i poorly speak English.

The trial version provides almost full functionality. To give just two examples of comparison, the rest is easy to find on the site Pano2VR.

True. But you could externalise and edit the XML to change that if you wished. But I too would like to see a few more controls in the PTP GUI.Second. Return to the horizon is absent.
Not true - it's automatically enabled with autorotation; but you are not offered any further controls to adjust parameters unlike in Pano2VR.Could add more examples, but i poorly speak English.
That's OK - you may write in French.
akphoto wrote:THere you write that you are too lazy to engage in exhausting work and make a virtual tour of Pano2VR. But at the same time advise me edit the XML file to change the direction of rotation of the image. And it's for 299 Euro? Where is the logic?
I see you know Pano2VR better than me, I do not need to talk about the disadvantages of Panotour 1.5.
mediavets wrote:At the time all I wanted to do was get a single pano into Flash VR format to put it on-line. Pano2VR does that easily.
But....I could never head my head around the Pano2VR Skin Editor to create hotspots and link together several panos to make a virtual tour. It seemed quite counterintuitive to me and much too much like hard work (I'm lazy!). I've seen very nice tours produced using Pano2VR but their authors report than it's far from easy to attain their level of skill.
By comparison it's just so easy and intuitive to create hotspots to link panos together in Panotour and Panotour Pro.
Likewise producing multi-res output is easy and 'transparent' using Panotour Pro but far from 'transparent' using Pano2VR wher this feasture is a very recent addition.
Similarly producing iDevice-compatible tours is easy with Panotour Pro, but judging by questions on the Pano2VR forum it's far from easy to achieve with Pano2VR.
Do you agree?

Also, when I load cubefaces, it doesn't know where they belong, I have to manually rearrange them, I guess it looks for a specific naming convention that I am not using, but without documetation haven't figured out.
Also most importantly I can't believe I can't test the iPhone etc compatibility without making a purchase. That is what I am concerned most about, yet I would have to take a shot in the dark so to speak and trust that it all works good. Does it "Auto-Detect" the platform or do I have to make a separate "click here for iOS" button??
