Iphone's do run OSX and programs can be developed using the same tool chain just run through a MacOS ARM compiler at the end

I am still waiting for my Merlin so I can't do any testing, there is already a question regarding bluetooth. But I will ask what other ways can it be connected as it says Serial - Bluetooth - Ethernet in the program. What is needed to connect to the Merlin with the other 2 methods, sorry if this has been brought up before.

What sort of device do you plan to use on the Merlin head?
This will determine what other forms of connection you might be able to use.
