We have recently rebuilt a VT (originally created in PanoTour Pro 1.8 and we have now upgraded to 2.5) that uses lots of video content, which we orginally incorporated by setting up a Polygon Spot Style and triggering "Basic - Play a video" as the action. However this does not give us any video controls when the video plays. When we created the VT, this was the only apparent way of using video material.
In our updated version, we wanted to avoid having to rework all the video content.
We have tried adding the Video Controls plug-in but this only seems to work if you add videos as scenes - not as a universal control bar for any videos that play in the VT.
Is there any way that we can add controls to the material that plays via the hotspots - enabling us simply to update the hotspot style and then apply it? Or is the only option to add each video as a scene?
Or can we edit the xml code to apply a universal control (which is how we handled it with 1.8)?
Any advice would be greatly welcomed. Thanks!
We have also tried using the Default Video Spot and while this plays a video ok, still no controls!
Is there a way we can edit the XML code to apply video controls? This is what we did with 1.8 and we are very much hoping there is a similar way around it for 2.5?
Yes with Panotour Pro you can edit the XML generated files to add what you want. The video is treaten differently if it's a video scene, a display video action or a hotspot video. So edit the right code.
Note: each generation will erase your modifications so save them before any build.
