Maybe that´s a silly question . .

I gave an USB-stick to a client for having him run a tour locally without needing access the the web.

Error. This didnt work.

When i render the tour also for ptv - will it work for him this way?

I guess it NEEDS to be possible running a tour offline on a client´s device any time he wants or
needs it to run without access to the web.

I cannot expect a business-partner/client to be blessed with any IT-skills . . .

No it's not possible in most of the cases. Internal memory or internal SD must be used for that.
Only few Android devices will be able to access a "ptv" directory on usb stick.
