can't install ptv after uninstalling

hello everyone
i created a tour and opened it with ptv several times. i made modifications to the tour and rendered it and opened those also a few times. after 4-5 times repeating this process, i received the failure message: can't read file. from this point on i couldn't open earlier files that i could previeously view either. so i thought to have a software problem.

i uninstalled ptv and tried to install it again. however this is not possible, the installation process stops saying repeatadly not being able to overwrite this and that viewer.exe type files.

anybody had this experience before? i appreciate every feedback. thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Have you tried rebooting your computer?
I've never had anyone report this behaviour.

As for the Cannot Read File issue, this happens when you are previewing the tour from Panotour and also try to to preview the PTV. They use the same server. http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... AD_FILE.22
