duplicate projects with working panos

by bergerdennis » Sat May 20, 2017 1:10 pm

hi,

how could you duplicate a AVP-project so that you could work with it and giga would attach a new .pano to it?

when i work on a copy of my project and create a new .pano in giga the changes would not apply to the project-copy in AVP..

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I think my topic should be acknowledged.

In an NLE you can duplicate a project or make snapshot of it - this very useful.

In AVP and Giga you should have the ability to do that too.

But you cannot do it through the software: you can "save as" your project as many times as you want, but you are still working with one *.pano connected to all project duplicates. and changes to that *.pano ripple through to all of your project duplicates.

you should have the option to save different states of your project with different *.panos. I hope you understand the issue - you may need many different renders in most sophisticated workflows.

Maybe I am wrong. Then:

how does it work?
