Video plays no sound

Hi folks,
I implemented a video (mp4) with a video hotspot. When I publish the tour, the audio is mute. Any idea?

I have the same problem. mp4 video hotspot. the sound is not working. i made 10 hotspots and linked it to a video. i have no sound. most i work with google chrome.
is there a working way with sound? must deliver a video project. didnt know its not working.
what can i do?

How/where are you viewing it (meaning browser + version, device + version, online or locally)

meaning browser: Version 54.0.2840.98 (64-bit)
device + version: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS Sierra 10.12.1
online or locally: locally

i dont go online if the tour is not working localy. so i dont have an online link.

How are you viewing the tour locally? Through PTViewer or KrPano Testing Server?

Do you have any other sounds in your tour? Test with for example a random sound spot, can you hear that sound?

if i export the tour its written export to ptv file. then i press the play button and the tour will open in the browser. this i the way i did it all the time.
i tried to add a background sound. there is also no sound.

i try to find a solution.
i checked the video "Web Video Box Plugin of Panotour Pro 2". There is written: No direct URL to the Video File.
If i would run the tour on a USB Stick, how is this possible?
Is there a way to make a external link to the video file on the usb stick?

If there's no sound at all, check you haven't disabled it in the project properties > start parameters > sounds.


The webvideo box plugin is to link a webvideo, like youtube, vimeo, etc.

Is there a way to make a external link to the video file on the usb stick?

I don't understand the question.
