Panotour 2.5 Pro - how to restrict viewing angle?

by Michael Ezra » Sun Feb 14, 2016 3:30 pm

I have a spherical panorama jpg file which is about 160 degrees horizontal FOV and 69 vertical
How can I use this jpg in PTP to let it spin only 160 degrees and not show black areas?
I tried with image as-is, also tried with the same image when I expanded canvas to simulate 360x180 pano and then cropped it (with a trick of setting input horizontal FOV to 359), still I get black areas on left and right when pano spins. How do I make it stop at the edge of the image?

Quick update... I tried viewing the tour in the internet explorer 11.09 and it works correctly. Does not work in Firefox 44.0.2

Tested you image into PTP 2.5 with 160° x 68.64° without issue into Firefox.

After you've cropped the image in the hotspot editor (to hide the black areas) make sure you empty your cache.
