Discrepancy between editor and preview/render

by Pipetman » Sun Nov 15, 2015 7:51 pm

I made simple panorama a while ago (four shots in one row, hand-held), and it looks perfectly fine, when opened in the editor. If the preview is activated and also in he final render, however, the stitching in the foreground where the water meets the beach is messed up.

Here's the pano in the editor:

And here's the final render (looks the same, when preview is clicked in the editor):

And here are two crops of the most offending area in the foreground.

vs. render:

How can I prevent this from happening?

Btw: This was done in Autopano Pro 3.7

Hi

I also had this problem in this kind of panoramic.

My system to correct this is as follows:

Shoot with a generous overlap, sometimes with big waves repeating several times the same frame, and then render the panoramic on a layered Photoshop file to correct manually by selecting (through mask layer) from which one picture will be displayed every wave .

It is laborious but it is the only system that I get a credible result in the waves.
