You cannot interact between a Kolor Eyes video and a virtual tour made by Panotour. You can only add point spot over the video to make action but the point spot will be static and not linked to the video.
ok thanks! but now that it is 'done', i've run into another problem...not sure if you can help? i generated the tour to a folder on my desktop. i ran the in app test to open in my browser, and it worked perfectly...the 360 video player worked great! so i loaded into my public folder on dropbox, got the 'share' link and tried it in Safari. it wouldn't show or play the video in Safari, so i tried it in Firefox and Chrome...both worked perfectly! but half an hour later, when going back to admire my handiwork...the tour still opens ok, but every pano that used to have a 360 video, no longer displayed the video player window...it's as if the webcontent plugin had just disappeared!
why would it work for a while, then stop? it still works fine from my desktop, and it is a straight copy upload to dropbox. i've used Dropbox for sharing all my PTP tours so far, and have never had any problems.
any ideas or suggestions...or is it just because it's beta, that it breaks easy?
the panos that that have previously had visible and working 360 video links are 2, 4, 5, 10, 12. each one opens by default with a view that shows the video player window at an angle on the left side of the pano window.
sorry, i deleted it, had to be fixed in some minor details anyway. uploading new folder. works on desktop...let's see how long it lasts on Dropbox! i'll post a link when it's finished uploading, the pics show a few different panos, and what view it opens to...the video player is clearly visible, and works.
ok, i regenerated. it works perfectly from desktop...the video player windows all show up and play. but now, after i copy it to Dropbox, the plugins don't work anymore...nothing...not even a hint that there should be a video player in the panoramas. the panos that should show a video player when opened are 2,4,5,10,12.
The problem is likely that because you are hosting on Dropbox, which is https, it is blocking the video iframes which are http and pose a "security risk". It's the same with Google Drive: http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... ogle_Drive
that makes sense, never would have thought of that! do you know any hosting that doesn't use https, and is reliable and in the same price range as Dropbox?
:Unfortunately as Dropbox isn't intended as a hosting service none of these fixtures are configurable. :FYI, All major providers are switching to https only.
"Federal agencies have less than 18 months – until December 31, 2016 – to adopt the HTTPS encrypted connection protocol on all of their websites. This is a big requirement for government agencies, and long overdue."
so obviously my regular storage and sharing solution is not going to work with this new plugin that makes PTP 2.5 so awesome (i'm sure later versions will have controls like most plugins do, and not just a field for the URL)...
how do i host my tour then? does it have to be on an actual website? are you sure this is the actual 'reason' that the webcontent plugin is not displaying?
