On video complete

How can I set an action when the video is complete?
So far I can set the video loop, nothing else.

In what context is the video playing?

Are we talking about a video as a scene, or a video hotspot, or a video invoked by a hotspot?

What action would you like to happen after video plays through once?

You cannot do it inside PTP with current version.
You can do it by modifying a little the generated code.

In the yourtour_core.xml file, just find the onxmlcomplete attribute of the videoplayer plugin.
There add the code you want to do.

I'll see if the "Actions" plugin (http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... our_Events) can be enhanced with this event.
But if its the case, then the action will not be called in VR mode, as this plugin is not exported in VR mode.

That would be a nice feature to be added. ;)

Also, your solution works if I have just 1 video.
What if I have multiple videos with multiple destinations?

Is there a reason why it isn't?

Then you'd need a scene-specfic multi-instance plugin; unless, perhaps, if the destination scene was always the next in the tour order?

I did a quick modification in the Advanced plugin "Call actions on tour events" to add this event.

ActionsOnEvents.zip
(2.53 KiB) Downloaded 110 times

I share this modification here on the forum and not on our dedicated page, as the way this onvideocomplete works may change in next beta or in the final 2.5 release.

When the 2.5 version will be out, we will add an official modified version of it.

With this plugin you can set the videoscene ID on which you want it to act. And as you can use this plugin multiple times, you can have many videos in your tour that automatically load next scene on video complete event.

Bonjour,

Dan

Every plugin is removed in vr mode, it doesnt work.

For the moment you can try have a hotspot in your videos (at the nadir or zenith) to be able to navigate away from the video in VR mode.

Hello,
when I use this plugin (also with the ID) it's only working at this last video I have placed. All the others (placed before) do not link to another panorama when they are finished and stay at the last frame of the video. Am I forgetting something? Thanks for your support!

Have you added multiple instances of the plugin, one for each video scene?

Yes I did. Each video has his own "Call actions on tour events".

Could you possibly share on online version of the tour?

Also, how about using the basic > load next panorama instead, the next panorama being the next one in pano order.

Hi, thanks for your responses.
I am currently testing the option using “trash” material. So putting the tour online is not a good idea (haha). The action to go direct to the next panorama has unfortunately the same result.
I have now tested the software on a Windows and Apple system. Both give the same result. So I am doing something wrong or forget something, but I do not know what it is. I will keep trying.

Using PTP 2.5 beta 3 64-bit on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit viewing with latest Firefox...

I created a simple three video scene tour and tried your suggestion...it didn't work instead the video simply stopped and the browser (local viewing using latest Firesox) closed that tab shortly after the initial video scene completed.

That's weird it's always worked for me.

Did you make it pano specific to each video or general?

If its load next scene you don't need it to be scene specific
