that I want to show, made some more, but that is really nice, at least I think so
Only 2.25 gigapixel made from 667 pictures with my Sigma SD14
Sharpness ist a bit reduced because of zoomify.

Server is probably a bit slow here in europe but well I get a lot of space and traffic so...

Aaah, lovely! I particularly like the tracks, left by someone finding his way around the cracks. This qualifies for a great wallpaper!

p.s.: that´s why i want to have a motorized and progammable head . . i´m someone who gets confused by shooting such an amount of pics
in a proper order . . .

How big was the scratch disk that was used for autopano to work with?

Really impressive work.

I don?t want a motorized head because of:
1. It is even more heavy than my current gear
2. Manual I can shoot when I want, like stopping when strong wind is shaking the lens, cars driving trhough the scene etc.
3. I can determine my shooting speed depending on the scenery
4. I am a bit romantic, for me a motorized head is more like a webcam and has not that much to with photography anymore

but I am also always afraid to forget to shoot a picture

The file is 8GB as PSB
Rendering with multiband took 3 hours but gave bad results in the shadw areas as the shadows moved during the shooting
So I splitted the pano up to 6 parts and rendered it with smartblend (At the moment APP is crashing when rendering such big paos with smartblend), which took 9 hours but 2 parts I have rendered parallel on another computer as it took so long. (I now it is against the license but I normally don?t do this)
Scratch disks where 250 GB

Ah I would like to print it but I fear it is impossible to get a print in good quality in that size.
Just looking fo a solution for it

up to 6 x 18 m (!!!) - not as print, but as real foto... !
i couldnt believe before i visited them...

Thomas, I have one little regret. Not about the pano, but about your web page.

The zoomify plugin you are using does not allowto zoom out completely, showing the full pano without scrolling. That would be nice though.

That zoomify is made with PSCS3 I can try to use the plug in from the standalone.
