AutopanoGiga> sh AutopanoGiga.sh ./AutopanoGiga: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.52: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Available by default on OpenSuse 13.2 is is ver. 53 of the library -> libicu53_1
First glance : userinterface not changed, fortunately. My GPU is much better used and no sign of the famous last core problem. All we wait for now is the price of final version/ update price when having 3.5 already. Me think I am using the beta for a while now. as things only seems to go faster.
Coming from a rather critical person like myself, this is good news!
....oops fist crash, ran out of memory. Guess editors are leaking again/still
and half an hour later, back to 3.7 as the beta is crashing all the time
OpenSuse is not officially supported (Ubuntu >= 14.04 is recommended) but you can try adding these files in your AutopanoGiga folder: http://94.23.59.24/~melera/libicu.tar.gz
Hi Antoine, Thanks for the files. it starts fine now. I know OpenSuse may not be supported, it has always worked fine though since I own a License of AP. I'll post feedback on it on this thread when tests go on ;-)
I have the same error on Gentoo. Saying AP is supported only on Ubuntu is an enormous mistake, for two reasons: 1- There are hundreds of distributions, Ubuntu is not necessarily the most popular nor the best, and the company that runs it certainly makes questionable ethical decisions. Supporting only this one distribution cuts out thousands of other potential Kolor clients, and is completely unnecessary, which brings me to point 2. 2- AP is not open-source, which means you provide binaries, which means you static-link during compilation. This means you could support it on any distro as long as you package all the required libs - and you do! The APG400b2 tarball comes with Qt5 libs - the only thing missing is libicui18n.so.52 so if you include that into your next tarball, it should run fine on any modern distro.
By the way, an up-to-date stable Gentoo uses /usr/lib64/libicui18n.so.53 not 52. With the libs you provided in the tar.gz above, it runs fine on Gentoo
I'm getting crashes when editing, maybe a graphics driver issue ? (nouveau), what settings do you use for GPU ? and what graphics card/driver do you have ?
