jarane wrote:Hi everyone,
I recently updated to PTP 2.3 and created a 24-pano tour.
Below are some of the glitches I found on this new iteration of PTP.
I’m using a Mac Pro OS 10.9.5.
1- Loading time
At startup, each pano took over one minute to load, causing the cube faces to show and eventually not allowing the pano to load completely. I was using 10000 x 5000 px images, and ended up reducing the size to 6000 x 3000 px.
I read that the Floor Plan plugin was causing the slow-loading issue, so I decided to eliminate it.
2- Floor map
After deleting the Floor Plan’s image link, unchecking it from the navigation bar list and ….. its icon still shows on the tour’s navigation bar.
3- Panorama List
For some reason, the panorama list shows only about 1/5 (or less) of its size on the startup panorama.
This issue disappears once you’ve passed this first pano, but it is confusing to the viewers, who cannot see the list.
4- Browser compatibility
When I saw the panorama list cut in 1/5 of its size, I thought that it could be a Safari issue, so I tried to open the tour in Chrome and in Firefox. I’m attaching screen shots of both attempts.
5- Freeze Rotation
Whenever the tour remains inactive for more that 1 minute, it freezes until I right-click on it. Only then I am able to make it rotate again. If this tour is online may we have the URL?

thanks for your prompt reply.
- Read about the floor plan issue here:
viewtopic.php?f=91&t=24508
- Did not rebuild the tour from scratch. Just deleted the floor plan image and unchecked the option from the navigation bar options.
- Only HTML5 version. No Flash.
- Viewing it online

- Just 1 one-level floor plan
- No Flash 'cause I thought it would just complicate things. Is there a performance advantage to building both?
