I'm trying to install "Papywizard_2011-02-01.dmg" onto my Mac (very latest Mavericks).

When I run it, I see the error "Unhanded exception - No module named platform".

I know this is a Python module error, but I don't know how to fix it exactly. I run python from my terminal, and can manually import the module "platform".

It looks like papywizard comes with it's own version of python? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Development on Papywizard stopped some time ago I'm afraid. So I'm not surprised to hear that it doesn't run on the latest Mavericks version of OSX.

Do you have access to a Windows PC or have one of those programs that let's you run Windows on a mac?

Alternatively you can pick up Nokia N800 and N810 Internet Tablets secondhand quite cheaply these days onebay:

I actually found a post a little further down in the forum where another user posted a .zip file with Papywizard in it.

I used that and it worked fine under Mavericks.

Great - can you post a link to that post with the ZIP file please?
