Can't Install on Mac - .dmg file 'not recognized

by Brian Factor » Sun May 18, 2014 2:33 pm

I've downloaded the AutopanoVideo_Mac_151_2014-04-23.dmg demo installaller. When I try to mount/open the installer by clicking it I get a warning dialogue (The following disk images could not be opened. Reason: Not Recognized).

Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz Intel Core i5
I've tried this on OSX 10.7.5, Mavericks and Snow Leopard (have three separate bootable partitions).

I have updated security settings to allow all developer apps and other .dmg files are working fine.

ALSO I am getting the same problem with the Kolor Eyes Player (KolorEyes_Mac_110_2014-03-03.dmg)

I've had the same issue when attempting to install today's release of APG 1.6 FINAL. Similar setup on a Macbook Pro. Also ran into the same issue with the developers update of Kolor Eyes.

Did the original poster find a solution, or get any help from Kolor? The entire file downloaded without a hitch, for some reason it's just not reading properly.

Any help is appreciated :)

Could both of you complete this table:
- AutopanoVideo_Mac_151_2014-04-23.dmg ( worked / failed ) on ( OSX version )
- KolorEyes_Mac_110_2014-03-03.dmg ( worked / failed ) on ( OSX version )
etc

Issue 3613 opened
