Hi Annis,

As a newbie I fully understand the frustration from a lot people (myself included) with the documentation.
That being said I am glad that you are trying to improve on the quality and accessibility of the documentation.

For me it would help if you could change the underlying Wikipedia engine.
What I notice is that in the current Kolor version it is not possible to create a "Book".
For years it is possible to create personalized documentation from within Wikipedia (Print/export->Create a Book), for me that would mean
that I select various Kolor articles, generate a customized pdf for screen viewing, printing and editing for her/his own remarks.
My guess is that you are using an older version of Wikipedia, that is something that could maybe easily upgraded?

In working that way everyone can make his own tailor made documentation based on your articles.

So:
- Upgrade to a Wiki version that allows creating personalized documentation.

Regards,

Twan

I like this idea very much

I often come across Kolor / APG wiki articles that don't have any obvious source from the main indexes and I generally bookmark these separately for future access (otherwise it is almost impossible to find them again later !)

The facility to build up separate books of Functions and Techniques/Methods as pdf collections would be very useful and could be easily tailored by each user for just the areas interested in

Incidentally I think the issue about not having this facility right now is more to do with the use of MediaWiki (version & extensions) than with wiki iitself
