panotour pro 2 tours on ipad

by Mike Spence » Wed Mar 05, 2014 9:18 pm

I have produced a number of virtual tours which are fine when viewed on a normal PC or Mac screen. However on the iPAD 3 the image is highly pixelated and really not very good at all. Why is this and is there a fix?

Thanks

Mike

What Build settings are you using?

What browser are you using to view the tour?

Using Safari and making sure all quality settings are set correctly, should work.

Check these things:

- Panorama in a good resolution? at least 2k or something
- Panorama zoom, don't make it too high. 100 zoom in and 100 zoom out is fine. Else you zoom in too much.
- Build tab > Tiles > Quality 10

Build your panorama and it should appear fine. Here I used 4k panorama images, test it this way and later tune them down a little until I have good results. Works here fine on all iPad versions, even 1

Is it a multi-resolution build tour ? See your build window properties
