PT 2.0 RC1 Win - Flat build as cylinder

by John360 » Wed Jan 15, 2014 3:38 am

Im building a tour with multires spherical and flat images. Does not work as HTML5. Looking at the xml I find that its not flat, its cylindrical. Is it supposed to?

Code: Select all
<image type="CYLINDER" hfov="1" vfov="0.75" voffset="0" multires="true" baseindex="0" tilesize="512">

Yes, but its the cylinder button :)

Checked the demos at Krpano and they are cylinder as well.

HTML5 multi-res. on mobiles currently only works if the pano image has a pano FOV of 360x180.

Flat images are rendered into cylinder with a hfov of 1°.
You can try with the RC2 release which will be available today which should correct the cubical, cylinder, shere xml references for flash, html5 and devices.

Yes, I figured it out, that it was the krpano solution itself. Actually Im bughunting a 100 360 project with two planar images as well. It does not render as HTML5, and looking for errors.

So this one is not a bug.
