How to do a Hotspot to display a picture from an URL and not a local File ? Picture hotspot accepts only local file :( that non-sense restriction was already there in PTP 1 :O A way to do that without editing xml after each export ?

Thanks

You could use the Web site box plugin.

In the Style section, add to your Workspace an instance of the type of hotspot style you wish to use to open the Website box.

Then add your hotspot in the Tour section and associate it with the Hotspot style and parameterise in Hotspot properties panel.

Vincen

You are missing a step.. After you add your Website Box Plug-in.. Then you link your Hotspot to that plug-in and provide the url.. You can choose what ever hotspot you want and the colour or even make your own custom hotspot.. Using the UI for the Website Box plug-in, you can make the Website Box any colour, give it a title, radius corners or even no boarder at all... Add the Full Screen and Exit Button...

Destiny...

Hotspot styles are multi-instance - so add a new one to your workspace and set the Action appropriately.

Thanks to you two, works fine now ;) Just found a limit, it’s impossible to add such hotspot on floorplan :(
Second issue is that some hotspots loose their features without reasons and unable to get them back working normally !!

The true power of PTP V2 is the option to add other media... The issue I have is that PTP is sooo buggy with the Full Screen option.... When in Full Screen, nothing works.. I am sure its a PTP bug.. Also, its impossible to add Pano Specific Media so this is causing huge issues... It really confuses me why this feature has not been added and made as part of the main build long ago.. To do it now would mean a lot more coding and changing the way code is written.. The xml needs to be individualised as with 1.8.. As it is now, the menu and other media that I do not want on the pano are repeated.. I would also like an option to edit my menu so only those features I want on a pano are displayed..

http://www.destinyvirtualtours.com/PTPV ... nking.html

So many media types I would like to test but its the buggyness that puts a spanner into the works since it means that I have no idea whether its my media or PTP that stops things working as I want them to......

Destiny...

URL should be accepted in a next release. A bug has been reported.

Salut Vincen,
