El Arco Sunrise (26-DEC-2005)

by ckiely » Sun Mar 05, 2006 5:03 am

El Arco (the end of the Baja Peninsula)
Cabo del Sol, Baja California Sur (Mexico)

Fuji S2 Pro
500mm lens (*1.5 digital crop factor, effective focal length 750mm, each shot)
2x4 (then cropped)
From a 5% render

PS don't get used to the "sunrise" shots from me... "sunset" is more my style :)

Wow, no one else has posted an image since last time I logged in a week or two ago.

Great colors, not sure I get why the rock is cropped the way it is though. Don't sweat the sunrises, I only get up for trips or if I foresee a better image at sunrise than sunset. My sunrise "success" rate is abysmal compared to my sunset success rate.

It is cropped because it goes on forever... gotta crop it somewhere.
