PTP2 Public Beta 1 x64 Android graphical tearing/glitches

Hello Kolor tearm.

I did report this previously, but I thought it prudent to report the issue again with the new version.

On my Android smartphone (HTC One), I get graphical tearing/glitches in "mobile mode", but it runs fine in "desktop mode" on the phone.

If I run another tour I did using the krpano normal droplet, there are no tearing/glitches.

Ok, thanks for your tests.
We have to check for our differences.

Do you talk about the preview image transition which is more blurry into PTP2 and more smooth on Krpano visit ?

Hi Benji,
No.

If you run the Xoticar tour on an Android smartphone (ver 4+), run in desktop mode, it will run fine (except the splash screen is not displayed and the arrow hotspots will disappear if you zoom too much, more bugs).

Then disable desktop mode and refresh the page, the splash screen works, the arrow hotspots don't disappear, but you get a square thumbnail type image overlaying the panorama in the top left of the screen. As you move the panorama around, the thumbnail tears apart and disappears, then reappears on rotation.

When I reported this a few weeks ago, you thought it might be low memory on the Android phone. I don't believe that's the cause, as it works without glitches in desktop mode (higher resolution cube faces), and the tour I created using the krpano droplet (2nd link above) works in mobile mode without glitches.

Ok, thanks for your return.
It's in our todo list on mobiles/tablets bugs.
If it's working with krpano droplet, it should be working on Panotour Pro 2 due to the same player engine. So I've noticed your report.

Hi Benji,
Yes I agree, PTP2 is using the same engine as krpano, thats why I reported the bug.
Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

BTW: did you guys sort out the Audio bug as well? (crashing when you re-load a pano after playing it once?)

I cant get to run any tour on android correctly.
Built the tour as html5, Desktop and Mobile Version..

Looks hilarious

Visualy I think it's the same problem that evoqued previously. A bad tile is displayed over others.

Just to confirm that the Android graphical tearing problem reported above, has now been fixed in PTP2 Beta 2.
Congratulations to the Kolor Team, well done!

Note: Tested on HTC One smartphone in Android mode (not desktop mode).
