Horizon warped using krpanotools but looks even using Panotour.

by robarama » Mon Sep 23, 2013 6:58 pm

I'm regenerating a tour that I had done in PanotourPro using krpanotools but the horizon is warping dramatically. Why is this happening and how can I change it. See links below.

Thanks,

R

I would think that the projection when rendering in APG/PTP is different to the tiling choise in KRPano.
So that the projection in PTP is cylindrical and slicing in KRP is spherical or vice versa.

if they are both the same then it could be that you need the same dstance above the 0º horizon as below it ie. same distance above and below the horizon

let me know if either or which of those works if you can?

actually pretty sure you need to centralise the vertical midpoint in the pano and it should get rid of the wobble curve
