BigTIFF support

Got some great idea or a feature request? Post it here and discuss it. The most requested concepts are usually implemented, as Autopano Pro / Giga is very community driven.

BigTIFF support

by stefantalpalaru » Fri Jan 06, 2012 4:37 am

BigTIFF is an extension to the TIFF format that removes size limits. It's available in libtiff-4.0.0beta7 ( ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff/ ) and it can be offered alongside TIFF or as an automated fail-over when the file size might go past 2GB.

GigaPX Tools can convert KRO to bigTIFF - if that's of any use:

I saw that, thanks. I'm wondering if/when Autopano will write BigTIFF files.
