Hi All -

I am wondering what folks think of the use of the little planet intro in this aviation panorama.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi Klaus,
I realize that a "Planet" doesn't make sense indoors but I thought the tunnel effect was interesting.
Thanks, Dan

Hi,

Goog panorama but the use of the Little Planet function seems not relevant for me.
The use of automatic rotation is annoying.
By the way, it would interesting if the user can "zoom in" a little more so like that presentation : http://www.gillesvidal.com/blogpano/cockpit1.htm

Nice work.

Michel

N745FD FDX Airbus A300(F) 668

Read the callsign it's on the forward instrument panel.....then enter in Google...and voila an Airbus 300 Freight version owned by Federal Express and 668 is the serial number. First flight was on the 27 of october 1992....it's a hand me down with 2 (hopefully carefull) previous owners or better leasers since it was owned by AWAS and leased to Garuda Indonesia 17-12-1992 till 16-01-1997, then it was return from lease and passed on on Qatar Arways in march 1997 the plane received the name Al Woujbah, and flew till 05-11-2007 when it was converted into a cargo aircraft for Federal Express....it now flies under the name of Viola since april 2008 (when the conversion was finnished). By the way you won't wanna use the starboard toilet during a flight :).

Greets, Ed.

http://www.planespotters.net/Aviation_Photos/photo.show?id=069316 and here it is in the colors of it's previous owner.

OK I'll take the bait.

I'm sure you are dying to tell us why not.

I like the little planet intro. It lends a different persective that I had not seen before and the tunneling effect was interesting as well. I'm trying to think if there are any other applications where it might work.
