We use MAP feature in Project Properties > Extra to use the base for our panorama's. We have two issues with this.

(1) Along with MAP first panorama and it's sounds get loaded. Is there way to avoid loading first pano and its background sounds?

(2) When the MPS is displayed if we click any other area other than hots spots first default pano get loaded. How to disable loading any pano when click non hots pot areas?

Thanks.

So what would you have load in the background behind the Map graphic? Or would you wish the Map graphic to completely fill the tour display area?

I cannot replicate that behaviour - do you have an example online?

Which version of Panotour/Panotour Pro are you using?

On which operating system?

What browser are you using to view the tour?

We wish the Map graphic to completely fill the tour display area.Have a look on this tour http://www.thegalleryvizu.com/panorama/location1/

if we had a background sound on the pano while the map is displayed that would also have been running.

OK...it's unusual to have the Map graphic cover the entire tour display area, and I don't see that it adds anything to the tour like that, but if that what you want so be it...

There is no way - from the PTP GUI - to not have the initial pano scene and background sound (if set) load when the map is initially displayed. There may be some way to hand code this, but I'd advise you to avoid that approach as PTP 2.x is already in Alpha release and hasa completely different coding structure so your efforts would not easily transfer to the next version of PTP.

If you used transparency in your map graphic , the PNG format supports transparency, for example where the sea is now - then having it overlaid (at less than 100% of the tour display area) on the initial pano scene with sound on load would seem 'rational' to me and might make more sense to those viewing the tour as well.

I believe that your report is incorrect.

When clicking anywhere other than a hotspot on the Map graphic, the Map graphic goes to its closed size/position and the current pano/scene continues to be displayed - it does not change to the initial/default pano scene in the tour.

Checked with Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari on Windows XP/32.
