Autopano Video Pro RC1 - crash 99% of time during loading videos

by Morgan » Thu Jul 18, 2013 6:20 am

Hello,

I installed AVP RC1 64bits and when I try to load videos, by drag and drop or by menu it crash 99% of time immediately :-(
I almost never have this problem with the previous release.

Some ideas?

Thanks.

Morgan

According to crash report received, decoder installed on your computer seems not compatible with video used.
In documentation, we give some tools for trying to fix this:
http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Autopano_Video_-_Supported_formats_and_limitations
The current dll used for decoding your video in your system is "nvd3umx.dll". It should have been installed with your nvidia drivers.

Dear Renan,

I understand what you say but the problem is AVP is launching videos made with the same format with the same camera and in the other hand he doesn't accept other, strange as all those videos have been made with the same camera with the same setting for encoding...

I'm not keen to destroy the default video codec configuration for directshow has it removes the thumbnail creation for the video on windows explorer :-(

I can decode perfectly those videos with Windows Media player so why AVP is not able to open those files as well?

Thanks.

I've just received a new driver from Nvidia and everything is back to normal...

Thanks.
