I was sent 2 cables both only small plugs.
So I am making one with a 2.5 and a 3.5.
Now I'm confused - you said in your first post that you had used the Touch controller and that it did trigger the shutter on the camera for a single row.
http://www.autopano.net/forum/p64666-ye … -55#p64666
"On the Mosaic it will only fire the shutter for the top row."
How did you do this if you didn't already have a 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable to connect the Touch controller to the camera?

Yes my BT look similar.
OK - now when I plug in my small BT 'USB 'dongle' on my Windows XP system it is automatically recognised and the Bluetooth icon (blue and white) appears in the notification area of the task bar.

So after installing and before running panorama.exe you connected the Touch controller to the PC and the USB start display is shown?
Then you get the error when running panorama.exe?
And when you click on Debug?

Removed programs.
According to the directions.
First plugin the USB, Reject auto, Install the driver from driver folder.
There is not a folder labled driver.
There is a file called SiUSBXp.
Right clicking and choosing install it says it cannot do this.
The contents of the file are:

IF this is the Driver, how is it installed?
I am thinking drivers did not get installed.
After this my instructions say to open Panorama eng and click on the setup.exe
Is there really a folder that is named driver?
The only folders on my CD are labeled:
Panorama_deu
Panorama _eng
x64
x86
Within these folder there are no folders name driver

Once you have the driver installed then you can install panorama.exe from the appropriate folder on the CD-ROM.
Did you go through all these steps correctly?
You can install panorama software without any controler connected to PC. Then once installation is finished, and windows restarted, you'll need to plug the controller on the computer with the USB cable included in kit. Then windows will pop-up something and install driver for controler. Then you can run Panorama. Panorama won't start if controler is not connected !
If you still get an issue, please post a screen shot of error(s) you get.
Thanks,

Hello "foto1"
For your smal BT dongle under Vista 32 bit you can install the Broadcom official BT stack (The Microsoft BT stack in "made by Broadcom" anyway ... so no risks !)
Herafter the URL:
http://www.broadcom.com/support/license … loadSE.exe
After that ... please "reboot your PC" with the BT dongle in place !

Then you mau wish to try this software - for Windows Vista only - be aware that it is a 59MB download and download is slow:
http://www.lm-technologies.com/drivers/ … driver.zip
or this - for Win98/2000/XP and Vista/7 - 88MB download and equally slow:
http://www.lm-technologies.com/drivers/ … 100%20.zip

Unfortunately I am unable to help you any further with this problem with the Touch controller software since I don't have one and have never seen one, so all I have to hand is the manual from the T&C web site.
So I hope Vincen from SkiVR, or someone from Kolor, or Josef from T&C (the makers of this device) will be able to help you with this problem.
In the meantime let's focus on trying to get a Bluetooth connection working so you can use Papywizard instead of the Touch controller for the moment.

You should at least get a notification popup from windows near clock in taskbar indicating you plugged a new device ! Does it appear ? Normally the LCD display should also display USB mode (no backlighting but you should be able to read display !). If nothing appears on display of controller either it's defective or USB cable is defective, or your USB port is not enough powered !
Is it direct USB connection on computer ? or through hub ?

usb driver is installed.
I can write to it.
I don't think that it is getting the right info from computer.
For a mosaic it after going thru the motions of going to lower left the upper right and then on to do shooting the dispaly shows it is going to shoot three frames when it would easily take 9 or more for the shot I have set up. It does shoot the 3 pics. I have sent file to josef.
It is the dongle that is not recognized. I am currently downloading the drivers recomended by mediavets.

Hi "foto1",
If the BT dongle don't work with the Broadcom BT stack ( the one I asked you for installing) it will never work ... !
I believe that the BT dongle is defective ! ![]()

I believe that the BT dongle is defective !
That might well explain why it wasn't automatically installed with Vista 32 I suppose.
But... that would be very bad luck on top of the problems he's experiencing with the Touch controller...let's just see if the other drivers do anything...
Do we know anything about the source and brand of the BT 'dongle' supplied with the Panogear package?
Do they get tested before shipping?
..........
FWIW I tried installing that Broadcom software on my XP system and it failed to find my BT dongle - perhaps because the MS BT drivers were already functional and functioning on my system?
Could that suggest that the standard MS BT drivers are indeed also functional on foto1's Toshiba?
Remind me - why do we think his laptop is not recognising the BT dongle automatically?

Did you deactivated in Windows the original Bluetooth internal interface ? to avoid any conflicts with USB dongle !
Do you have a way to test the dongle on an other computer ? so we know if it's a software issue on your specific computer or dongle that is defective !

While you are waiting for a replacement from Kolor you may wish to buy another? That way you can get started with papywizard.
These USB BT dongles are very cheap these days and it won't hurt to have a spare for when you lose one.
Where are you usually located and where are you travelling at present? Is this the sort of thing you'll be able to source nearby?

I am in the Grate Lakes area there is no stores to by anything like that it will have to wait.
The nearest town has a population of 176.
My best bet is to get the touch control going.
Tomorrow is my last day here.
